These standards explain how KaraokeCrowd works to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation. They apply worldwide to the website, the KaraokeCrowd app, and all community content. KaraokeCrowd follows applicable child-safety laws.
What we prohibit
KaraokeCrowd does not allow child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This includes:
- creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, offering, selling, linking to, or helping others find CSAM;
- grooming a child, sexualizing a child, or trying to arrange sexual contact with a child;
- sexual solicitation, sextortion, or trafficking involving a child;
- content that promotes, normalizes, or gives instructions for sexually exploiting children; and
- links, coded directions, or other attempts to send people to exploitative material or services.
These rules apply to photos, text, profiles, Memories, replies, links, and any other content or conduct on KaraokeCrowd. Apparent fictional, illustrated, or computer-generated content is also prohibited when it sexualizes or exploits children.
Report a child-safety concern
In the app, use Report on the relevant member, Memory, reply, or linked social post. Choose Something else and describe the child-safety concern. The reported member is not told who submitted the report. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
You can also email our designated child-safety contact at support@karaokecrowd.com. Include the KaraokeCrowd profile or content link and a brief description. Do not download, forward, attach, or email suspected CSAM.
If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. Do not wait for KaraokeCrowd to respond.
How we respond
We review child-safety reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, and take other steps needed to protect users and the service. We may preserve information where necessary for safety, evidence, or legal compliance.
When we become aware of apparent CSAM or other child exploitation, we report it to the appropriate regional or national authority where required by law. We cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
