This work happened behind the scenes. The new site was not yet live.

On the old site, a few account and map improvements became visible. At the same time, the foundations for submissions, profiles, personalization, and social features were being built for the future launch.

What's new

  • On the old site, some account and map improvements became visible
  • Behind the scenes, account and profile flows were being built out for the new site
  • Behind the scenes, venue, event, and recurring-karaoke submission flows were being established
  • Behind the scenes, map work was gaining geolocation, stronger filtering, and dark-mode support
  • Behind the scenes, early social foundations were being laid around friends, RSVPs, and followed venues
  • Behind the scenes, saved locations and notification infrastructure were starting to form

Why it matters

This was the phase where KaraokeCrowd started becoming a maintainable product instead of only a set of pages.
