How schedules repeat

Weekly, monthly, every other week, or skipping the last week — here is each choice with an example.

How a karaoke night repeats

When you add a night, you pick how often it runs. Here is each choice with an example.

Weekly

Runs the same weekday(s) every week. Example: every Friday.

Weekly, skipping some weeks

A weekly night that pauses on certain weeks of the month. Tick the weeks to skip — most often the last. Example: every Friday except the last Friday of the month. Some months have only four Fridays, so "the last" can be the 4th or the 5th — we always track whichever is actually last.

Every other week

Runs every two weeks. We ask for the date of the next one so we know which week the cycle starts on. Example: every other Thursday, starting 6 March.

Monthly (by date)

Runs on a fixed day number each month. Example: the 15th of every month.

Monthly (by weekday)

Runs on specific weekday occurrences each month. Pick the week(s): 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or last. Example: the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. Picking the 1st through 4th means "every Friday except the 5th" — it only skips in the rare months with a 5th Friday. To skip the last Friday every month, use Weekly, skipping some weeks instead.

Irregular

Runs, but not on a fixed cadence. We show it as a series and let people suggest each date. Example: pop-up nights announced on social media.
